I recently bought a "Polish Underfolder" that sold to me as a kit build from a respected builder here in VA. The quality of the build is pretty good and it is an accurate and solid performer so far. Here is where it gets interesting, it is not a complete Polish underfolder kit build. It has a quality Nodak NDS-1P receiver and Tapco G2 trigger parts, that I know for sure. However, I believe the bolt carrier group is a Yugo. It is polished and the serial number font looks Yugo. The rear sight block may be Egyptian, it has a three digit number on it. The rear sight leaf is Hungarian, it starts with an "A". I think the top cover is Polish, it is a smooth top with a 4 digit serial number on it. The barrel trunnion serial number, if it was Polish has been scrubbed. On the right side of the trunnion, I see an "11", plus two other markings that I can't make out. I think the lower hand guard is Polish, not a clue on the upper handguard. There barely any markings on the barrel. It is chrome lined. Underneath the lower hand guard, I can make out a "41" and a few other markings on the bottom of the barrel. For some reason, the bayonet lug ears were shaved off. It has the typical Polish orange handgrip. I know I got a mutt, I know. But I wish I knew more about it. Any help on barrel markings and right side trunnion markings would be a big help. Thanks!
