[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Bolt Handle R/R?

Has anyone seen a bolt handle cut down and then replaced with something like the GG&G?? I've had one on my 1100 for a few years and like the size anad postion. Besides clearing the FP et al, what concerns have we about making something like this work?

If you are going for that shape there is no need to cut and weld. Krebs custom makes a knurled AK bolt handle. Slips over and is held in place with a big old set screw.

ETA- sorry it was Tromix not Krebs.
