| Hi I'm 14 and just bought a AR-15 and so did my friend now we bothe want a underfolding ak my question is what is the best underfolding ak under 1000. My friends dad said he will help me inspect them first too. |

For under a $K you can probably easily find a Century Yugo M70AB2 parts-AK on the thick "RPK" (useful for grenade launching rifles) receiver, or, a Cent Yugo M70 parts-AK without the RPK recvr, or, a Century Polish parts-AK. The Polski will be a tad lighter in weight.
All the above are USA-assembled mix-master AKs with US parts for compliance. If you search hard enough, you may find a non-Century built Polski with matching parts and original Polish chrome-lined barrel, or a Yugo in similar fashion. Be advised that all U/F AKs have some degree of verticle "stock" wobble, and there are the complaints over "cheek weld"... No big deal IMHO. |
