| Has anyone seen THIS before? Seems like a new offering from KVAR - essentially SLR107CR but built by Izhmash. I couldn't even find it on their website. For those of you who want an authentic AK-104 clone, this is probably it. |

Quoted: Why the hell cant they put the grip plate on them, whats wrong with them, we alteady made a huge deal about it now there gonna do it again... Ak builder has them? Cant they work something out? this bugs me also. Simple $8 retail part, I'd imagine they can get it cheaper. |
| It is a SGL21-94 with a Bulgarian FSGB combo. This actually bodes well for the 105 clone I have begged Arsenal to make. Only thing wrong with it is the incorrect FSGB and lack of reinforcement plate. I don't know why they did not do a batch of these when they had the correct Russian FSGB's in stock. |

The gap between the base and the front site is longer on the Bulgarian one compared to the Russian one. There are other differences as well including the different indexes and shorter cylinder. This is a good reference comparing the differences: http://www.avtomats-in-action.com/parts7.html I believe Arsenal uses Bulgarian ones because it utilizes the standard gas block location. The Russian one sits slightly further back and as such requires modification of the gas vent when using a standard 74M barrel unfortunately. |

You will never see a Russian gas block simply because it takes a lot of work to get them to work with standard barrels. |
