Anyone have any comments on an ace stock install on an slr-95? Interested in the adapter pig set up to install a magpul ctr with cheek riser set up.

You should check CNC Warrior and Bonesteel for hinge and stock combinations too.
I put one of their M4/AR hinge and stock combos on my Saiga and love it. I think the quality of the CNC hinge is a lot better than the Ace, I'm going to put one of their new Beryl style stocks on my Bulgy |

I will post some pics when i can.
The adapter block fits my SLR-95 just right and bolts up tight. The round pig adapter that attaches to that for the CAR tube is also tight via two screws to the adapter. There is a set screw on the bottom of the pig adapter that keeps the CAR tube tight. So far im happy with the setup compared to the thumb hole set up that was on it. We'll see how tight it stays after a day of shooting. I will say that i would like the rear end of the adapter to not be so square. Maybe sloped a little to follow the contour of the upper tang. |
