Pulled three folks with my AUP who had planted a couple bombs on the road in town.  My police were not very nice to the guys but luckily none of the IED's went off on us all were blown in place and we brought the guys in for some questions.  Im an adviser for the local police in afghanistan and as they were processing the guys I went through the evidence they had picked up.  We have gotten some pretty gnarly AK's in over the year some nice some not so nice.  This is the first of these I had seen.  Damn thing looks brand new kinda hard to tell from the picture but the finish on it was all very nice.  Sorry I didn't get more photos for you guys but other things were more important uses of my time.  All of the evidence pics can't be passed out so I guess I should have thought ahead better.

The magazine only held 25 rounds but felt as if it could hold more.
The ammo was 7.62x25.
My interpreter kept calling it a TTK then again he is partially retarded on most days
I have heard of BIzons that are x25 but never seen one.  Does anyone have more information on this particular gun?
One of the dudes was clearly a paki and Im guessing this came from pakistan as well.

Bizon sub machine guns or pulemet pistolet have a cylindrical magazine similar to the Calico. What you have is a "Khyber Pass" or Pakistani homemade PDW of some sorts.

The receiver looks short.

I also noted the lack of a rear sight, the "inshallah" aiming technique must be used with this SMG.

In this region this time around the bad dudes are planting IED's and the dudes with the AK's are just covering down on them.  They will not engage us for the most part and I doubt they would have with this.  Had they fired a shot the three of them would have died.  Generally when we do get small arms fire it is from pkm's that belonged to the police or army in country.  Quite a bit different than the other deployments I have done.

The reason I mentioned the bizon is that there was one stick magazine variant that I had seen that shot 9mm.  I figured this was a bubba copy.  Or a kyber as you mentioned above.

I got very little face time with the gun as I got pulled away for other things.

You might be thinking of the Vityaz PP-19-01 SMG chambered for 9mm NATO or maybe a KEDR PP-91. You can get lost in the firearms world when it comes to 3rd world countries, you never know what might appear.

I'm honestly not sure what it is either but I appreciate the post.  It's always interesting to me to see these randomly made guns.  Thanks again OP!

is that an overfolder and is the buttstock fully extended?  if so it looks like the perfect "inshallah" shooting postition if the stock is put into the shoulder like that

can you get more pictures of the insides?

Good eye!

That's got khyber pass written all over it. I have seen others (pictures) that they milled the receiver to look like stamped.

Thanks for sharing OP and thanks for your service!

Sticker. Common Middle East practice.

It was an under folder.  It was actually in its collapsed position when I picked it up I popped out the mag and cleared it the buttstock to it full out position which is that strange angle you see.

That KK pistol looks a lot like it.  Might kind of explain why the terp called it a ttk.

The guys are gone and the guns are gone.  If we get another one in like it I will be sure to do a better job documenting for you.
