I’m looking for an over the bore scope mount. I just bought a Midwest industries AK mount and it doesn't fit! It doesn’t slide all the way on or lock as tight as it should. Another option is the BP-02 but they have bad reviews and sound like garbage. I’ve been searching around and found nothing. Any help is appreciated.
Thank you

Pic of Midwest mount on the psl rail, doesn't come close to sliding on all the way.

It won't fit because PSLs have an SVD style side rail, not an AK style side rail.
You need an SVD compatible mount.

This.

Top rail is a PSL/SVD style rail. The bottom is a standard AK style rail. Notice they are completely different. When you look at the scope/mount, you need to make sure it is designed to fit on a PSL/SVD rail.

I know that there is a difference. What I am asking for is some guidance for a PSL scope mount not the actual rail. I can't find an over the bore, quality scope mount.

We're just making sure you know, since you started off by trying to attach an AK mount onto your SVD rail.

I looked at the BP02 on Kalinka's site and it had pretty good reviews, just the normal tightening of the pull lever like you have to do to most mounts of this type. The only other I found rather quickly was over at the Mako Group. Mako makes some decent gear. You could always hop over to their industry forum and ask them any questions you have about the mount.

Thank you for posting that link at least that gives me one option. Its pretty pricey for what it is though so I'm still looking for other ideas. As far as the BP-02, do a google search of it. I think you would be surprised at who writes reviews on websites like Kalinka. If I don't find anything soon Ill end up getting the Mako.
Thank you

It's the FAB SVDM mount from The Mako Group, DuraCoat finish by us, and aftermarket wood, not sure where he bought the wood, but it is really nice.
