The factory M92 pistol has hit the US shores recently and I finally got one in my grubby paws! I'll do a complete review video as usual in the next couple weeks but I wanted to show everyone what it looks like so I made a video where I strip it down so everyone can get a good look at the muzzle, trunnion, feed ramp, barrel, ect... In the full review I'll go into greater detail on the history and specific features of this gun but I just wanted to get this out there because I know many of you are seeking info on this gun. Here's the video: M92 Video Preview Link Edit––Mods––Just realized I posted in the wrong section. My apologies. |

Nice, didn't know those were finally on the market. That serial number placement in unfortunate.. hopefully an underfolder can be installed without damaging the serial or covering it up. I agree with you there. I'm not a fan of underfolders anyway so it doesn't really bother me. Likely, I'll be putting an ACE stock on it or just using the US Machine Gun adaptor, which I really like thus far. |

Well cutting the holes shouldn't touch the serial number and it brought to my attention that the rule of "the serial number must be in a conspicuous area" only applies to the manufacturer/maker of the firearm and the serial can be covered by way of a part or accessory. Now I don't know how this will apply if you go the SBR route since you're now essentially the "manufacturer". I guess time will tell as I'm sure people will start writing the technical branch for clarification. |

The adapter that fits the Draco will not work well with the PAP M92. This is because the PAP M92 receiver back edge is not 90 degrees to the top rails. The Draco receiver back edge is 90 degrees to the top rails. The back edge of the PAP M92 receiver angles forward from top to bottom. |

Is the muzzle threaded? Does it have a protector, or are threads not cut? Yes it is threaded, you need to cut the tack weld to remove the end cap, Here is a pic of someones M92's that just shipped in. Does anyone know the thread size?? is it M14x1.0 LH ?? http://i47.tinypic.com/303i6vo.jpg Thanks. That's a big plus. |

Just got mine today! It's was sitting on this pawn shop for weeks with no takers. I paid about $50 more I guess vs. waiting for Cope's if I consider shipping and transfer fees. Came with 2 mags, crappy Century manual, and a nice certificate from Zastava. Fit and finish is most definitely a couple of steps above the Romy Dracos. I can't tell if the finish is blued or painted (I think it's matte blue). Nice 3rd pin Y and I dimples. I can see the future http://i1217.photobucket.com/albums/dd386/plikatok/Collection/Century%20M92%20PAP/EFF92A1F-393D-4020-98F7-42E44698514A-6888-00000A4A0AAAA466.jpg Could you tell us more about the stock you installed? I would love to do that to mine. Looks great! |

Something I am not qualified to do :) |

I just got to handle one of these today and honestly, I expected more. Perhaps I just had too high of expectations. It definitely is better built than a Draco, and the finish is nicer than the Draco. But I found the top cover to be poorly fit on the example I played with and the wood looked more Draco'ish than the wood in the pics here. By that I mean the wood was somewhat rough and was splotchy. The shop also wanted $700 for it! I know that's over the top pricing and don't fault the pistol for that. Despite all that, I still want one for a SBR project. I'll wait until I find one that has a little better fit and hopefully some nicer wood before I pounce. |
