Nice '  I have a wasr-3 that i got back in april of 07 and i finaly got around to de-banning it this weekend. i tig welded the bayonet lug and threaded the muzzle 14x1 left and add a type 84 flash hider from cnc warrior. and i have some laminate hand guards on the way from apex to replace the ugly beech ones that are on it now. its always been a sweet shooter now she's gonna look badass

I have a Sar3.  Very accurate AK.  Shoots under 4" at 100 yards on a regular basis.

I got one with a mag catch problem so returned it to Aims. The replacement worked okey until a shell got stuck in the chamber. For the life of me i couldn t remove it  using all the techniques i could ask from others.  Glad  I sold it finally and lost  $ 100 in value   , i hope the owner will be able to get it running again.
NOw my AK 74 Bulgarian can be 3 inch grouper at 100 yds and thats perfect for me. The reason i wanted a AK 74 was to replace the WASR 3 i loved so much bec it was accurate as an AK.

I think I could afford to adjust the point of impact just a little bit, as they're all left of center, but I was really surprised. Especially since I'm not that great of a shot. I'm thinking about getting a box of Privi Partisan match ammo just to see what happens.

try some of the wolf 62 gr. fmj. my wasr-3  loves the stuff .but any of the 62 gr. and up stuff will shoot realy good in these rifles though to be sure the 55gr. stuff does pretty good to..

Tried some 62 grain today. Didn't get a chance to shoot it on paper for groups but point of impact at 50 meters was the same as 55 grain which is good. Didn't feel quite as smooth as 55 grain though

Nice shooting!

I have been yearning for another 5.56 Ak ever since I sold my slr-106 and I might go with a wasr3 if I can find one locally to look over.

Um, you're a better shot than me.  I always hesitate to adjust the sights on a factory rifle.  I always assume that it's me and not the rifle, or the test firer.

The "zero" on iron sights tends to vary from person to person, because each person gets a slightly different sight picture.  So you should probably adjust the sights so it hits where you want it to when you fire it
