| That is one of the nice things about AK's; they are "user friendly" for most repairs, when they rarely need one, even for backwoods grunts and snuffies that are all thumbs. You did fine; congrats. But I found out that I could reuse the same pins after removal for moving the base over a wee bit. Also it is easy to go too far the other way, so I always mark the sight base and the bbl with a pencil mark so I only go a little bit. What do gunsmiths charge for that?? You saved $$ and learned something |
