I have an Romanian AKM "G' model.. This rifle is 100 % reliable except for the fact that  about 98 % of my extracted brass has dents in them. Is this common ? Should this be a concern ?

Sometimes shell hits bolt carrier/charging handle on way out. The rifle was not designed to preserve brass. Tweaking the extractor and ejector can alter the ejection, but it's not really a problem to most shooters.

Thanks for the replies. It's a good thing that I don't reload 7.62X39MM  because these dents are really bad on the side of the case.

It's normal.

Check this video out. It shows just how violently the AK ejects rounds.

If mine didn't do it I would think something was wrong.

The dents you're getting are caused by the brass hitting the dust cover on the edge, normal and ugly, like everything AK 47.

get use to it, it's an AK thing. Buy cheap steel cased ammo and you won't feel so bad.
