I carry 28 rounds in the gun. Enough for pretty much anything I might run into and a few more to signal if I go down with a busted ankle. Not that I'd last very long under those circumstances soaked in sweat to turn to ice. All together, just shy of 7 hours steady on the trail. Editted the above to point out the lion track. . I do a lot of that too. (in the summer though, don't like the cold)
| Holy smokes! You're the man. I've never really thought of it, but skiing like you did seems to be the best way to travel over snow without a motor. Economical, excellent cardio, I feel like I should maybe get into skiing myself, but I'm thinking downed trees and stuff like that makes it near impossible to pass. Could you talk about that subject please? And also, the AK was for defense from predators? |
