I bought a rommy barrel that is cut down and has a AMD-65 brake permanently attached, the amd brake will come off easily and I have a Bulgarian 24mm FSB going on it and I want to put it right against the gas block but the barrel is going to be about a half inch to three quarters inch inside the FSB.

Is this going to affect anything in a bad way? I know the arsenals are flush with the end of the barrel and the gases go straight into the brake and with mine it will go into the sight base before the brake. will this be a problem? Could it possibly affect accuracy?

I don't think it will be a problem as a lot of barrel extensions are kinda like this but I just want to be sure.

Thanks in advance for your help!

As long as the pins meet the barrel, you should be fine.  It will be a trap for unburnt powder and difficult to clean, but it will be anyone once you permanently attach your muzzle device to reach 16".

Cool, thanks! The pins have plenty of room to catch the barrel and I have thought about it being a pain in the ass to clean, I'll probally just spray break free into it and let it run out or soak the end of the barrel in some sort of cleaner every once in a while to flush it out.
