I am about to buy one while I still can for $499. However, this is my first AK so I was wondering what I some basic things I should check when Im with the rifle to make sure it is in working order.
Also, I what would some of yall consider a better purchase for close to that money. From some of my google searchs I have read I.O. Inc seems to be pretty good quality and they are only $600ish yet lack the cheap quad rail and what not. Thanks |

The M10's seem good, very few problems reported. WHat to check for? normal AK stuff: Canted FSB/Gas Block, hangup of the bolt carrier, how much slop the magwell has in it (your choice on that).
I'd say order from CFS or Budsgunshop, both will likely be good about any problem you have. Overall: I'd say the M10 is better than the IO Inc. I haven't had a huge chance to fir emy M10 alot, but it seems top-notch in build quality. |

While I haven't bought a firearm from them, they've been super-fast responding to several questions, have sent out accessory and ammo orders quickly.
I do know a ouple other guys that have returned fierarms (Back when CAI AK74's were mostly good, but a few keyholers) and were completely happy with them. |
