Not really sure where to put this

I want to cut down my converted 7.62x39 saiga barrel. I was thinking of getting the front sight gas block combo (if I can ever find one that is ) If I pin and weld the 74 style brake on will it be 16" length or would I need to hunt down one of those extended 74 brakes? Or or or do I need to get two separate gas blocks and front sight bases.

If you're keeping the existing gas port, you'll need the extended brake.

If anyone would have one or could make one, it's these guys: http://www.cncwarrior.com/

If you don't see one, email them and ask.  Their stuff is top notch.

Kvar has them but they are out of stock

The slr107cr uses this gas block but has a 16" barrel, I assume it extends through the gas block rather than being chopped flush with it.

Ooh CNC has the extended 74 but it's not 24mm, all of the out of stock 2 in 1 gas block front sights have 24mm threads .. No flashhiders here in NY so I can't use the krink boosters.

ETA: aa-ok has a "russian AK-105 style" front sight but its not drilled or tapped *how do you tap the gas port?* and is 14 LH, is this airsoft?

going to cold link it I think we can do that right? If not mods feel free to edit me http://aa-ok.com/ak105-style-front-sight-gas-block-base.html
