Hello all,
I'm looking at purchasing my first AK. I love this riffle and its history. I have shot one before along with variants of the AR. I live in Hawaii so the prices are a bit steeper out here. This is what I'm looking at: Arsenal SGL21-61. The price out here is $795.00. I know the price is on the high side, but have head nothing but good things about this riffle and Arsenal. Can anyone with some operational knowledge provide any insight on my current consideration? Thanks in advance. |

I have a couple Saigas (the rifle that you're looking at is another variant of the Saiga/AK-74/AK-100 series) that I converted myself, a Yugoslavian M-70AB2, & a couple Romanian SAR-1s.
The Saigas & the Yugo were obviously better built with more attention to detail, & the Romanians are a little rough around the edges. But guess what? They all run like a top. |
