[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Red Jacket Underfolder

I'm about to get a new AK shortly and need some info.
One rifle I'm looking at is a Red Jacket Polish Underfolder AK 47 at Atlantic.
Anyone have any experience with one of these? I've been
jonesing for a Polish underfolder and I would think that Red Jacket's
reputation and life time warrante would be hard to beat, Right?
I have also been looking at the Vector classic. Its an underfolder
built from Bulgarian parts.
So what do yall think?

The Red Jacket offered from AF is a top notch piece. Dont listen to the haters. Its built extremely well and the finish is awesome. I couldnt find a thing wrong with it.

Here is mine with soviet furniture

Here is the way they send it to you with Polish surplus wood. I took it off and put it on my WASR

Next to a few others for comparison. You cant really tell in the picture but the GunKote finish they give you is 10x better than the WASR

If you don’t mind that it’s got a US made chrome lined barrel (it’s a very good barrel, but US made barrels seem to be against some peoples morals

), then it’s a great gun.

Did you email them about it? I heard they were out of stock on it. I myself want one too.

I bought one of the last few they had. I remember them saying they have no clue when they will be back in stock either.

I wouldnt get your hopes up on july. While i do hope its July, the last 3 times they told me a certain rifle was coming back in a specific month, they didnt come for a few months after. Not really thier fault though
