Bought my first arsenal AK from a good friend, always wanted one and it jams once or twice per mag, and im  disappointed. Don't know whats wrong.

Going by the wealth of information in your post, I'm going to say it's probably not an issue with the buttstock or lower handguard.

it may be a problem with the buttstock and lower handguard though.  i think he should remove both and then test the rifle again and see if there's any change.

I tried several new mags yesterday and I'm not getting the jams.  I wasn't expecting those issues with an AK.  Thanks.

You still haven't given enough information pigmy.  What model Arsenal? Caliber? Ammo? What kind/manufacturer of magazines?

The forum will try to help you, but can't help you until you give us more info.
