My wirefolder is loose.  Loose enough that you don't have to push the button swing it closed.

Is there a way to tighten it?

Push button.

Take it apart and check that the locking button/wedge is moving smoothly and that the spring is pushing it into the stock arm "V" as it should. They can bind sometimes due to dirt, lack of lubrication, a burr in the channel the parts ride in, etc. They are pretty simple, so it should not be hard to find the problem.

Could check and make sure the spring is tight.

The sprign in my Romy lever was (is), so weak that jiggle the rifle up and down and the stock would lock/unlock (took it off the rifle).  I couldn't find a replacement spring for it (dual-arm torsion spring).

But my Romy push button folder has a "standard" tubular coil.  Possible it needs changing.

So I took it off and cleaned it.  I took out lots of old gunk and the lockup is better.  I think I'll go ahead and replace that spring.

Does anyone know what spring it is?  Size and spring rate?
