I just picked up an SLR95 (milled) and it has a muzzle nut on it. Which way do I take it off. If its like my other AKs I believe its left hand threads - right turn loosens it. Is that correct?

The break is permanently attached from the factory

Well if whoever removed the factory break was able to save the muzzle end, then the thread is 14 mm & is the same as a regular AK. However, if the muzzle end was turned down as lots of post ban guns were, then the thread is 1/2x28 & would be righty tighty, leftie loosy. So it depends what the original guy did when he removed the permanently attached brake, & threaded the barrel.  GARY  N4KVE
