[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Quick MAK90 question

Found one for under $400 in great shape. Marked Interstate Arms, Billerica, Mass. Anything I should check before purchase? New to the AK world but when I asked a while back you guys said I should go MAK 90 before I bought a WASR so I'm going with your collective advice.

Any help is appreciated.

Oh, it comes with a sling, a 30 round mag and a 5 round mag. In great shape, $375 out the door.

Check see if the sights and gas block are straight. Not particular to this model but a good thing to always check.

Remove the buttstock to see if the rear of the receiver is a square back, or slant back. Square is preferred. Easier to find furniture for. But for that price, either would be good. GARY N4KVE
