The scout mount from scoutscopes.com is a very popular alternative, if you are ok with a scout-style setup. I tried it on one of my SKS for a while, and I'm just not thrilled with the position of the scope. I found it hard to get used to and sight picture kinda crappy... BUT, most people are just fine with it... I think my eyes just aren't "set up" for that kind of work. I'm very nearsighted so I think that's my problem. |
