Looking to buy a crate or two of the 7.62 that Aimsurplus has for sale. Does anyone know where to get a good stripper clip guide for AK magazines?
I did a google search and the little metal guide I have seen for $5-9 plus S&H doesn't seem to have positive reviews in regards to its durability and reliability. I am thinking about getting a Lapula loader but I do prefer to load by stripper clip if I can. I do load ammo on to stripper clips (30 carbine and 5.56) because it is faster to load the magazines than one at a time. I have to pay by the hour for range time, so I try to maximize my time shooting instead of loading magazines. Plus I can load the stripper clips while watching tv where there is AC or heat as warranted. P.S. Does anyone know where you can get a different buttstock for a Polish Tantal? I hate that wire stock and it is the only thing keeping me from buying one. Ideally it would still be a folding stock. |
