I am looking for a case for my Yugo underfolder.
Want it to fit without sliding all around, and would like a few mag pouches on the side. Hopefully in ACU of Foliage color. All the cases I have are way too big and the rifle moves all over, and they don't fit in the socks well at all. Any ideas. |

Allen makes a 32" tactical rifle case that works well. I use them for under and side folding Aks, AR180s and short telestock M16 variants like the XM-177, M4, and 16" carbines. And compared to most tactical rifle cases, they are inexpensive at around $30. (currently $26 at Optics planet.)
Another option for a weapon that may spend time in a car or SUV is to just use a tennis racket case. You can get them in single and double racket models, they are the right size for a folding stock AK and you can put mags in the side pockets. And none of it screams "GUN" as is the case with a tactical rifle case, or for that matter an M60 barrel bag that still looks like a gun case. |

A great "low-profile" case for an underfolder is a tennis racket bag. You can get them in a variety of colors so they don't even remotely look like a "gun case/bag".
I got a Nike one from a local Academy Sports for about $30 out-the-door. Measure your rifle with the stock folded then measure the inside of the bag at the store so you don't get any unpleasant surprises when you get home. My Polish Underfolder(don't own the rifle anymore... Still have the bag, only these days I use it to carry my M-4gery. The bag has two main compartments, with a padded divider in between. The upper receiver group goes in one side and the lower group goes in the other...and they don't beat against each other. |
