| OK, now I feel like a tard. On my new to me pre-ban Poly Tech sidefolder, how does and what type of bayo do I need? There seems to be no way for a bayo to fasten onto the gun using the rear of a bayo, there's nothing on the gun for a bayo to catch on. The cleaning rod goes through a housing under the barrel, a few inches down from the FSP, shouldn't the bayo grab on there? Or does it attach to the front of the barrel by those little hooks? Seems ringy dink to me. Thanks |

Seems ringy dink to me. Thanks You need the type that came w/the Milled Legends that fit over the end of the barrel. They will lock in utilizing the "fangs" under your FSB. Rayman knows the technical term and he might be along soon. You should be able to aquire one for around $50 give or take. Good luck 44 |
As 44 said, you probably need the M1947 or "First Model" bayonet - the type that looks like an old Mauser bayonet with the long blade. If you look underneath the front sight base, you'll see those little "fangs" as 44 mentioned. Here's the bayonet you're probably needing:
