I have been looking for a nice milled AK for my Farther in law for a while now. I found a mint Arsenal SA-M7 for $900 out the door. Every other SA-M7 I found was a least a couple-few hundred more and some being almost twice as much for a mint gun. I imagine those were priced WAY high but I felt the $900 was a more then fair price. I'll get pictures up as soon as I get the gun.

WOW I am Jealous, where did you find that?  Oh I just saw it was a ban gun, but that is still a good buy at that price it is almost unbelievable.

Thanks guys. So what exactly is the diference between a ban gun and non-ban gun? Thanks!

A ban model lacks the evil features (bayonet lug, removable muzzle devices, "things that go up", etc.) which often drive rifles into a killing frenzy.

A Preban gun was sold up to 1989 & has all the evil features. A Postban gun was from 1989-2004 & will have either a butthole stock, or pistolgrip, but if it has a pistolgrip, it must have some US parts for compliance. They couldn't have a bayolug, or threaded barrel, or a folding stock. A Noban gun is anything after 2004 & can again have the evil features, but still must have the US parts for 922. Also since the ban fell in 04, the evil features can now be restored to the Postban guns.  GARY  N4KVE

<<<<<I picked up this SAS M7 for 800 a few years ago and passed on a SA-M7 for 700 because I didn't want a "ban"gun.
I should have got both
