This will probably be my one and only AK, so here goes.   I know a little about them and the more I read the more overwhelmed I feel.
I want a well finished, red wood, slant muzzle break, saw pistol grip, reliable and reasonably accurate rifle.

I have read of concerns with Lancaster.  Have these been taken care of, or they an issue?

How about Interarms?

Any other suggestions?

One more;

they also have Red Jacket AK's which I have not read any complaints about.

Too many decisions..

Personally I am going to get the single stack 1.6 factory Bulgarian at Centerfire for $360 and make it 922r.
I like the fact all the important parts are 100% bulgarian.

I may go this route with a AK74 build for $100 more but with Bulgarian parts.
