best deal I've seen in awhile |
|
Ordered once from aim and will order again. I ordered three 20 rd Hungarian mags(they were new mags and they give you a pouch if you order 3) and two Bulgarian.
However if I were to order again, I would buy the "European magazines" because they have a nice blued (I think) finish. I do not care for the painted Bulgarian mags just cause I'd rather have a blued mag rather than painted. They are also the roundback Chinese design which is nice. |

If your a member of Sportsman Guide, you can get 5 Romanian 30 rounder for $8 ea and that includes the shipping.(using one of the $10 off coupons that is floating around) I have 5 in route to me and should be here on Tuesday. I will post what they look like when I get them since I have heard that buying AK mags from SG is hit or miss sometimes.
P.S. I would have had them already but some one in either the post office or UPS decided that they needed my mags more then I did. So this is a re-ship on my order that I placed on 10-30. The original order shipped UPS Basic( where UPS ships it to the town you live in and the USPS delivers the package) and I would not recommend anyone use this service. Every time I get a shipment this way it gets messed up one way or another(Midway USA + Brownell's also use it) |

These are my favorite!

| This summer my unit bought 100 of the Surplus Euro mags from AIM that RECON is recommending and they are great. I had read some reports that they sometimes show up rusty/dinged up, absolutely FALSE. These magazines are a great buy and show no signs of wear even though we beat them up regularly. They are coated in cosmoline but once you square that away you are ready to go. |

Well I got my shipment in and 4 of the mags looked great. The 5th had a messed up floor plate that refused to budge. It looked to be bashed in a bit and When I called SG they sent me a replacement at no charge for it. When I received the replacement it looked brand new. SG customer service told me to do as I wished with the messed up mag.
So I think that $39 and change for 5 30 round european mags including the shipping charges($8 ea] is still a pretty good deal. I might even place another order for 5 more next week if I get a chance. Thats even cheaper then they had at the Crossroads/SAR gun show that was here this past weekend. |
