Yes, I finally scored one on the other forum.  It is so pristine; I don't even want to use it.

I like it a lot.  Light weight and great glass as you know.

If you don't mind my asking, how much did the conversion cost you? Thinking about adding a triangular folder to mine and having Troy do it when he gets the chance.

That is a current issue Russian faceted long collar brake.  You can get them on the EE or GB every now and then, and usually run about $50-$80.

Very nice.  I particularly like the Zeiss.

Where's the best place to get those?  Or are they hard to find?

After weeks of searching (many moons ago), Citadel-SC found mine in Australia - he wasn't ready to commit yet and forwarded me the info.  I jumped on it and was very grateful.  He's proven he can find two now, and I'm seriously impressed.  Whatever search query he is using is the ultimate Zeiss 4x25 AK74N Internet Optic finder.

These are high quality East German optics, I paid about $500 for mine, maybe more - in fact likely more, and it came unissued in a complete kit with spares.  Its a rare item, built for an AK74 - and in fact is labeled such by the Zeiss factory.  The Zeiss factory discontinued these and will not build any more (Yes, I asked).

I'm very pleased to see the gun - and know he's poured a bunch of money and quality parts/workmanship into what is now an ultimate AK74.

It's not "just another converted SGL31" - its a work of art, effort, and dollars.

Here is one but way overpriced IMO.  They are very rare, but $500 is the limit I would pay personally.  Just have to watch Ebay, the EE's, and GB often to find them.
