| I have a Polish akms underfolder kit that I plan to build. It is in mint condition, however I have to question the originality of the finish. It looks like it is parkerised. The color is a medium charcoal grey. I also have a Romanian "G" model akm and the finish on it is very dark, almost black in color....much darker than the Polish akms. My Romanian "G" model looks like it was blued. My question: What was the original finish on a Polish akms underfolder....was it a medium charcoal grey like what I have or was it black like my Romanian akm "G" model ? Thanks. |
