If you mean it does not go from one side of the receiver to the other, it doesnt matter. If there was ever a hole there (the '3rd pin' is for the sear that is necessary for automatic fire) the ATF considers it a machine gun. Once a machine gun, always a machine gun. It doesnt even matter if the hole was welded over, etc.
Edit: only way to make it legal, as rockstar said, is to destroy the receiver. The remaining parts then would be worth a couple hundred at least. |
