Do you mean the pin rotates when the trigger is moved?

I can't say if it's normal or not, but none of mine do.  Is you shepherd's crook installed correctly and seated in the pin goove?

You might just need to pull the FCG, clean it all up and lube the pins.

I have the same question––after I installed my Tapco G2 I noticed I get some side to side movement of the trigger pin.  Not too bad, but it does have some play.  I wondered if this was normal.  I used the original shepherd's hook and as far as I know it is back in the grooves.  So far it hasn't caused me any issues.

Mine actually turns with the trigger, and turns back the other way when the trigger resets.

Take out the pin.  Put on lapping compound.  Insert into hammer.  Grap end protruding from hammer with power drill and spin.

I'm nopt saying it is bad, but better the hammer/pin wear than the receiver.
