Hello. I just barely picked up my Krinkov after waiting a good 16 months for the transfer. However, I have been looking it over and noticed the magazines do not lock into the rifle. I have tried 4 different types of mags and no luck. Should I try and dremel to top of the mag release lever? Thanks. ETA: Ah yes, looking through the top of the mag catch from the trigger side, it is about 1mm too high to lock mags. Dremel or mess with the catch somehow? |

Can you give us some details on what you have? Some pics would be nice too. Well, I came to reason and am just going to send it back to the builder to get it fixed. Me + dremel = a dangerous combination. Don't dremel it. Use a hand file. Go slow. Every few swipes with the hand file, check with a magazine. Don't file it out to take the thickest magazine lug. Try to find the average magazine lug and file it to fit that. Then all of your above average thickness magazine lugs should be filed. I speak from experience. Ugh. (Polish radom magazines are not the magazine you want to fit your rifle to. You want to fit your polish radoms to your rifle.) |
