Could be wrong but I think the stock would hit the rail when folded and therefore not work.

It's not that difficult but the issue you're probably gong to run into is getting the underfolder's left strut to clear the protrusion on the left side of the receiver, depending on the side-mounted scope and the underfolding buttstock.

You could mount a Yugoslavian M89 side rail, which is designed to work with underfolders.  Because the rail mounts higher than normal to clear the folding stock, optic height becomes an issue.  The M89 rail accepts PSL/SVD mounts.

There is a thread now in the archives where I went into great detail on this subject, I'll dig it out if you want me to.

You could use a TWS dogleg rail, thats what I have on my Romy, Im sure it would work for you!!

Need a rear tang to use the current TWS Dogleg rail.  Romy underfolders lack the tang.

Keep in mind that even if you never intend to fold the stock, the mount slides onto the rail from the rear.  With a side rail in the customary location, it is highly likely the folding mechanism on the receiver will be in the way.
