| Did they name the older rifles with all the goodies just plain SLR 105 before they added A1 or A1R or before they had neutered guns. I am looking at an SLR 105 that appears to be the same as an A1R. Conversion from a ban gun maybe? Or just an older model? |

Conversion from a ban gun maybe? Or just an older model? All 105's are just that 105's. They will have a "R" after the 105 to indicate the rail. None will have A1 or A1R to my knowledge as that is just an indication of the no ban config... Any doubts, call Arsenal w/the serial and they will confirm the original config for you to ease ur mind... 44 |

I also remember builders like PoHF putting side folding stocks on some and selling them. |

I have a 105 sidefolder conversion by C.Butler (AKUSA), Its a work of art, the 105 began as a no ban NIB model but had many receiver flaws (dents, dimples etc), he straightened it all out and you'd never know. He also installed the rail as at the time I couldn't get a railed model to save my ass. Over time though I was able to aquire 6 of them, selling all but 3... 44 |
