Has anyone ever had any dealings with the following importer, or rifles from said supplier?
Import Arms Co. 2215 J Street Sacramento California Apparently they went under in the late 80's, but that's as much info as i can find on them. I'm specifically looking to track down how long they were in operation, and anyone that's owned/owns a Norinco Type 56s bought in by them. Considering the vast knowledge base on here I've got my fingers crossed that someone knows/owns something |

I believe PIMC marketed stamped-receiver Chinese AKs in the mid-1980s for something like $280. Old Sacremento Armory website- http://www.oldsacarmoury.com/contactUs.php note the physical address is the same. OSA closed in 2008. From a thread on CALGUNS "IA CO SAC CA which stands for InterAmerican Company, Sacramento, California which also was known as InterAmerican Import Export Company. InterAmerican imported firearms and parts kits from China, Korea, Singapore, Hong Kong, England, Germany, Israel, Australia, Brazil and some other countries. Pacific International Merchandising Co (PIMCO), along with Armex Intl (a class 3 dealer) and Old Sacramento Armoury (a retail gun store) were the three different extensions that distributed the wares of InterAmerican at the local retail, wholesale and class 3 levels."
