Has anyone shot one of these.  Atlantic firearms is saying "2 inch groups at 100 yards".  That seems to be very...how do I put this...optimistic.

If that is true though, that seems like a good purchase.

I've been wondering too.  They claim to have upgraded the barrels, & mag release in some articles.
I would really like to know if any of the Midwest Industries rail systems will work on this gun.

The MI handguards would not work on this one, but they would work on some of the other IO rifles.

I got one in our store right after SHOT Show this year.  Due to poor fit and finish, I sent it back and have not ordered any more.  Sure, I may have gotten a bad apple, but it was not good enough to put on the shelf for sale.  It has been a few months, so I may decide to order another for a test run...maybe.

Do you think the rail system for a Saiga might work.
If they sold a rifle version of this pistol it would be all good.

I bought one back when they could be had for $379. The first one had the barrel pressed in canted. It went back and the replacement had a canted front sight. I've seen seen less sharp edges in a pile of broken glass, the finish seemed to have been applied at a school for the blind, and the trigger slapped like an angry pimp. Worst of all the clam shell hand guards are not even suitable for airsoft.

I tried to polish this turd by replacing the HGs with Tapco's for the Siaga and by un-canting the front sight. Instead it sits in my safe as a reminder of what $379 worth of turd looks like.

I'd bet money it won't even make a solid 3 MOA group, much less two.

Mine is the 5.56mm version and, unlike the others, I have had nothing but a good experience with it. I must admit though that it would not function worth a crap with the original mags, but once I replaced them with Wieger mags, no more problems. And that was years ago.

You're better off buying a WASR.
