I want an M-4 styled collapsible stock, but most I see on ak's look "droopy" so to say to the rest of the gun. Is there one that is pretty much perfectly parallel to the rest of the gun, and not droop down?

I don't know how else to expain it... If it helps I have a Bulgy AK 74

Thanks...

It all depends on the angle of the receiver block/stock adapter. The ACE internal receiver block does not tilt down at all. Of course, you have to cut off the rear tang to use the ACE internal block. The CAA conversion tube is pretty much parrallel to the bore as well. Many of the quick-change/bolt-on stocks tilt down to accomodate the angle of the rear tang. ACE

i just looked at my winchester '97 shotgun, remington 870 shotgun, marlin 1895g lever action, ruger 10/22, winchester .22 bolt action, finnish m39 nagant, and yugo sks, all of their stocks "droop" way more than my ak's.  the top of the stock on a european stamped ak is pretty much horizontal with the gun, maybe a little canted.

I think the droop would make it much more comfortable to shoot.  Kinda like the difference between a stamped and milled AK (not including chicoms).

Those AK's look VERY nice. So what ACE internal receiver block would I need for my CAI Bulgarian ak 74? Or how would I make mine look like those?

I like the Mako stock, and it looks pretty strait on mine, I didnt have to alter anything on the reciever, just pull the old stock off and place this one in its place!

You have everything I want on my gun. Stock, handguard, pistol grip... So Mako makes that huh? How much did you get it for, and where at?

I bought mine on Cheaperthandirt.com, but I have not seen them on there lately. I think I paid around $100 bucks for it! I love it! Here is another site that has them!
