Thanks for the offers guys but the WASR isn't for sale. I'm not quite sure what to do with it... I'd like to fix it. I ordered a new bolt carrier and piston since GunPlumber seems confident my carrier was out of spec due to the welded piston not allowing for necessary flex inside the gas tube. |

You gonna regret selling the WASR.
People shit on them all the time - and sure their fugly - but it's an AK's AK - it'll go bang every time. The only AK74 worth buying is one with the original barrel - same goes for the Tantal - buying anything else is like playing Russian Roulette with a Makarov. |

The Russian cold hammer forged chrome lined barrel was about 99% of the reason I went with an SGL-31 |
