I did that to my PSL some years ago.
But the areas where the oxide coating wasn't done well or had tiny rust pits or bare metal spots, three years later the finish was bubbling with corrosion under it. Like any paint job, it will only be as good as the prep work you put into it. Blasting and a fresh park job are the best bit of prep you can do before guncoating or applying Moly resin IMO. |

I did read over on THR forums that a guy said if you let the part air dry for several days before oven baking, it doesn't smell. I wish I knew before I tried. I would hate for my wife to use the AK on ME because I ruined her oven or made the house wretched. |
