[ARCHIVED THREAD] - AK Display Stand

Hey!

I do the Gun Shows selling parts and accessories for AR's. I have a couple of the Plastix Plus display stands I use to show off rifles featuring different parts.

I'm branching into AK's and was wondering if anyone knew of a similar type stand for the AK?

Take an old magazine, weld it to a steel plate, voilà, you've got an AK stand.

I'll do that one better. Use an old magazine and just weld the floorplate down. Remove the spring and follower. Now you've got a display stand than can even be taken apart into two pieces for easier transportation!

ive got a few mags with dings in them that hang up the floor plate and cant knock em out....looks like a fun project... hmmm

Yeah, I've been wanting to do this, but I can't justify destroying a perfectly good mag to do it.
All my mags are in perfect working order, what a thing to complain about

I'm probably gonna take my 1 or 2 rustiest mags and give 'em this treatment.

Wife was complaining I have "too many" ak mags anyway.
