Curious as hell as to why they removed the optics rail from the receiver and put a rail on the dust cover. I hope they didn't do that to all of them.

That's really cool––when did these start showing up?
How is the scope rail on the receiver cover working out? I also question their choice on this. Do these have original chrome lined barrels? Do they come with cleaning rods? |

Very cool rifle. Does the receiver cover / dust cover secure more securely somehow? Or does it go on like a normal AK?
For those in the know. Were would you find furniture to convert it to pistol grip and stock ...? (Obviously changing out parts and what not to maintain US parts count compliance.) |

Barrels are not chrome lined.
Does not come with a cleaning rod but will readily accept the standard 15.75" rod. Standard M70 pistol grip and butt stock will work fine but there will be cosmetic issues with the stock due to the slant cut receiver. Judging by the photos, that's the same standard dust cover that my PAP has, which is why I question the rail sitting on it. |

The rail is permanently attatched to the dust cover with press fit rivets, I guess that's what you can call them. Round tabs on the bottom of the rail pressed into holes in the cover. |

I have no idea how milled stocks attach. |
