Picked this up at the gunshow. I believe it's Chinese but I've never seen a Chinese with a metal hook before. It's got Chinese writing (I believe) and 762 stamped on it. Is it Chinese, how old is it and what rifle would it be appropriate for?

| There's a few variants of the Chinese sling with a metal end and hook. But I think the one in the photo had its original D-ring replaced with the D-ring and hook that's on it now. Hard to tell without seeing the whole D-ring. Without a real good look, I don't think it's original to that sling. |
