I bought a yugo underfolder last fall and just got around to shooting it. It is a century and I have now found out about some of the problems they have. My problem is the gun will not feed. The bolt travels over the rounds. I can feed it by operating it by hand only and sometimes that is a miss. The yugo bolt hold mags do not catch so......what do i do? I love the gun and the fit and finish is great but damnit I want it to feed. Will Century fix it or it it easy enough for me to fix?

When you insert  mag and it locks into place, is there alot of foward/back play in it? There was a problem with the mag latch being mounted a little too low causing play in the mag.

I have tried four different mags that all run in other ak's.

When I pull back on the mag when it is inserted the bold hold will catch. All of the mags have play front to back. I feel like if the safety stop was gone it would seat the mag correctly.

I am going to call century in the morn.....think they will fix it?

You can call Century and they should be able to fix the problem. My Yugo also has some forward/back play in the mag..but it shoots just fine. Luck of the draw I guess.

Mine is doing the SAME thing... of course I didnt know it because it was also short cycling due to some knuckle head not drilling the gas hole properly.

If you hold the mag when you fire or rack the bolt - does it help? That makes mine work 99% of the time.

Yes it helps but is not the 100%

Century has agreed to take it in and fix it....5weeks turn around.....could be worse I guess.

Let us konw how it turns out - When I sent my WASR in, it only took 3 weeks to get back to me - the fedex guy just happened to show up one day & I scoured the town looking for him LOL.
