Hi all,
I recently purchased one of these magazines (along with a SGL21): http://www.k-var.com/shop/product.php?productid=16959&cat=248&page=1 I'm new to AKs and wanted to get a high-cap mag along with the rifle to get me started while I continue to educate myself. After doing some more research I'm beginning to think I should have gone with the all-Bulgarian waffle mag instead. What do you all think, anyone know if the M-47W2US is any good? Why would they bother putting a US follower and floor plate into a Bulgarian shell anyway? Thanks, Jimmy |
| The waffle mags are great. That particular one was made to help people who were short 2 US parts in their count. If your gun already has the correct number of US parts you could have saved a few bucks & gotten the all Bulgarian mag. No one has ever said the 2 US parts in the mag don't work well. So if you ever get an AK that only has 3 US parts, that mag will make the count correct. GARY N4KVE |
