Dose anyone know what would have caused this mark on the bolt? I am not sure if it was there before or not. I am New to AK’s and am not sure if is anything to worry about.
Also I just started using my SGL20 (2008 Build) and have been running into a few issues mainly with magazines hitting the tab when they are inserted I should have posted here but I posted in the Russian forum . Just want to see if anybody else has ran into that problem http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=4&f=80&t=123387 http://img22.imageshack.us/img22/6331/sgl202.jpg |

I would say that mark was there before, looks like some ones handy work to me. file it down smooth.
each side of the rail 's mag retainers should be filed equally. the link pics look like one has been worked more than the other, perhaps more removal on the left side/extractor side will solve the issue. |

No need to be filing on the bolt. |

Just leave it be. No need to be filing on the bolt. I think That is what I am going to do. Do you think it can have any adverse affect? I bought the gun used but unfired. From the looks of It I do not think the dust cover was ever off of it. There where no ware marks until I started playing around with it and went to the range. The bolt has some numbers stamped on the other lugs that look about the same depth. I think it is a machining mark but just want to double check. As for the rail tabs I filed the one side down to get the mag to insert better without having to manipulate it. The Waffle mags actually filled themselves down from being inserted and go in nice and smooth it is the steel ones that are giving me a problem It just pisses me off because I thought Arsenal’s are supposed to be the better Ak’s out there. Mine must have got converted on off day. I am tempted to pick up a SGL21 while they are on sale but I can’t justify it. |

My SGL20 has it a little clearer and my SGL31 has the full mark. |
