I finally scored some of those rare Romanian Bakelite forward grips after an almost two year search. Gunbroker came through for me. I really like the feel of them though I have yet to really test them out at the range.

That's cool. I love Bakelite. Most of my disdain for the FVG is the donkey-dick appearance of the laminate ones. But that looks really nice. I think that there would be a market for those in polymer. Yes the Polish polymer Beryl ones are also very cool but I have never seen them here in the states. Plus, I do not know if those would fit non tantal/beryl rifles. Someone should make these in polymer |

Someone should make these in polymer The Beryl VFG lowers can be had on the AK Files from two sources from what I remember (pricey though). And they will fit standard stamped AK receivers. |
