My Yugo M70b1 has some left and right rocking wobble and some forward and back sliding. (left and right is worse)
It isn't TOO bad, but enough for me to warrant an attempt at correcting it. I just have no idea how to. Foil? lol
Anyone know how this can be fixed?

I have a Century M70B1 that suffered from the same wobble and fixed it using tin foil as a "washer" between the lower handguard and the handguard retainer. I had to add a bit more after the first time I shot the weapon but it is now good to go and as tight as it should be. Tin foil sounds hokey but it truly does work

Haha nice! Cheap and easy. I was playing with the idea but wasn't sure.. It's nice to get some confirmation.

Thanks

I just smeared epoxy on mine and let it harden.  Enough was shaved off when I put it back on to make a perfect wobble-free fit.

I've had good results with the tin foil.  Nice thing about the foil is it conforms easily and is heat resistant.

If they are wood hand guards, take two tiny nails and hammer them into the area underneath the retaining plate. this will add 1-3mm, and will lock up tight.

With the plastic HG's, I took a picture hanger, flattened it, cut it to fit above the two "lugs" put retainer over it, and whalla! no more wobble.
