Does anyone know where I can find a walk through video or a good set of instructions for a folding stock conversion.

Number two is what I am looking four. Do I need something like this.

Have you done the pistol grip conversion? Do you plan on doing the pistol grip conversion?
If you dont want to do the PG conversion: http://riflestocks.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=93_106 If you do want to do the PG conversion, you'll need a lot more than that adapter. |

For #2 you will need the internal block and the folding mechanism ACE and MSA make a block and ACE and StormWerkz make a hinge then you can get an ACE or Tromix stock and put it together.
As already stated you will need to do the full conversion first and then cut off the tang sticking out of the back of the receiver to mount the block for the stock. Here's a guide for the full conversion minus the folding stock. http://www.cross-conn.com/Saiga_Conversion/index.htm |

I have done the pistol grip conversion. I found lots of videos and guides and it was fairly easy. I just can't find much material on the stock conversion. |

Oh ok, well again all you need is the internal block, the folding mechanism, and the stock. You then take off your current stock and use a cut off wheel on your dremmel tool and cut off the tang(the piece of steel sticking out the back of the gun) and grind it flush with the back of the gun, put in the block, it locks in with the pistol grip nut and the screw hole that's under the main spring, the screw the stock on to the folding mechanism (leaving it in the closed position, i.e. flat as it comes so you can access all the holes) and then screw the hinge to the block, adjusting each as you final fit it together. It makes a lot more sense with all the parts sitting in front of you. |
