| I took off the old safety selector (gonna install a Krebs safety). And this metal clip-thingy with a small loophole came out and I don't know where it goes. I know you're supposed to put one end of the elector through the loop but i don't know where the end of the clip-thingy goes. HALP |
| Your shepards hook fell out. Several types of hook are out there. CLICK HERE for a link to help reinstall. Pics may help. |

Best advice I can give you is to throw that piece of shit spring thing away and buy something like this. http://www.midwayusa.com/mediasvr.dll/image?saleitemid=433261 Wow, I've had a Chinese style wire retainer since the mid 80's. Somehow we managed to put the rifles back together without those pin retainers. |

I like the RSA type retainers for ease but the Chinese type that the selector goes through are simple to use and I use them in rifles that the RSA will not work in without modifying it. I have no use for the other shepard's hook retainers. |

| Hair pin clips are much better than e clips. E clips are designed to work in a groove with sides that are perpendicular to the bottom. Because the grooves on fcg pins are not shaped that way, the clips can (and do) come off or break. Hair pin (and hitch pin) clips don't have those problems. |
